Case Study: RedMoxy & JB's on 41

It’s good to talk about yourself every once in awhile – and today we’re doing just that. We’re talking today about the work we’ve done for JB’s on 41 and the relationship that RedMoxy Communications and JB’s on 41 has established in the past three years.

Case Study: RedMoxy & JB’s on 41

Back in 2013, JB’s on 41 was a newly revovated galactic bowling palace in Milwaukee. The center turned to RedMoxy to provide both public relations and blogger outreach support to help increase awareness for the center both leading up to its grand opening and beyond. And that’s what we did.

RedMoxy launched a full public relations program to tell the story of the new JB’s on 41, which resulted in feature stories in The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, FOX 6 News, Onmilwaukee.com, Milwaukee Magazine Online and  The Business Journal of Greater Milwaukee.

Then, after the launch, we looked for ways to further tell the JB’s on 41 story. RedMoxy helped promote via strategic public relations their summer “Kids Bowl Free Program,” resulting in stories throughout the area. We also helped identify a national public relations opportunity for JB’s, resulting in the alley being named one of coolest bowling centers in America by Travel and Leisure Magazine. Check out the article for yourself here. 

We then tapped in to Milwaukee area bloggers and hosted a “Mommy Blogger” event to further get the word out about JB’s on 41 as a family fun center. Here’s another article to check out (and we made it happen!).

Finally, we started to ghost write for JB’s on 41. We established an editorial calendar so that JB’s on 41 could count on weekly blog posts for their blog.

Now we’re in 2016 and we’re still going strong. We recently helped JB’s brainstorm blogging topics for the new year. We collaborated to build up a schedule for Quarter 1 in 2016. Each week, RedMoxy writes a blog post based off of that schedule. We reference the JB’s on 41 website for further details and information. We send off to JB’s on 41, revise based on feedback, and do it all over again the next week!
