Facebook Marketing Tips and Tricks
When it comes to using Facebook as a marketing tool, several details can be overlooked. Studies have shown that posting times, frequencies, and visual appeal are some of the biggest influences in page views and likes. Not getting the results you would like from your company’s posts? Keep reading Facebook friends.
1. Post at Non-Peak Times and Post Once a Day
Viewers are exposed to an immense amount of content in their news feeds. When your company creates a post, they are competing with other posts from friends, family, public figures, etc. The most posting traffic for newsfeeds is done during the average consumer workday, typically stemming from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. To get more attention, try posting outside of these hours. Morning could be a prime time; however, evening hours have proved to be more beneficial. As people wind down at the end of the day, they focus more on reading content and have more patience to take the time to click on your posted links.
2. Keep it short and Simple
Try limiting your Facebook posts to 40 characters or less. No, this isn’t Twitter. However, readers have increasingly become more visual. Shift your attention from long winded words and phrases, and focus on finding nice visuals to accompany your posts.
3. Using Links
Facebook users prefer clicking on links displayed in the link format over links buried in photo captions. The link format reveals snippets of the article that entices viewers to learn more. For a visual example, and more reasons to transition into this new linkage format, CLICK HERE.
