Improve Your Facebook Strategy with These Tips
Good, better, best – it applies to anything and everything you’re doing. We’d like to argue that it especially applies to Facebook. We’ve seen a lot of companies “on” social, but not frequently updating. (That’s the “good” version.) We’ve seen other companies who post sporadically, are involved when they’re on, and not involved when they’re not – the better version. Then, we’ve seen companies who really hit their social media strategy out of the park. What does it take to get to that “best” level?
Today, we’re walking you through ways to improve your Facebook strategy with these tips. Ready to go from good or better to best? Read on.
Improve Your Facebook Strategy with These Tips
Test Engagement at Different Times of Day
Just because you’re in the office from 8 to 5 doesn’t mean that that’s when you should be posting to Facebook. Lots of Facebookers scroll their feeds at night – so perhaps that’s when you should be posting. There’s only one way to find out – by testing it out.
Add a Call-to-Action
It’s not just about entertaining your audience; it’s about urging them to take the next step. That’s where the CTA comes in. It doesn’t have to be a big one. You could start by simply directing your fans back to the company website to read your latest blog. Then, when you become more comfortable integrating CTAs in your Facebook strategy, you can start calling for subscriptions to the newsletter or for downloads of your latest content offer.
Include Pictures
You knew this one already, didn’t you? Post photos! They’re shared a lot more than links and straight text.
Ask for Advice
Are you redesigning your website? Or launching a new product? Ask for your Facebook fans’ feedback! Don’t just talk at them. Give them a chance to participate in the conversation.
Plus, you’re getting to hear input from the most reliable source there is – your fan base.
